Three Teens Injured in Everman Party Shooting; Seven Arrested

EVERMAN, Texas — Police say three teenagers were shot and seven people arrested following a shooting late Saturday night at a party held at an event venue along Everman Parkway.

According to the Everman Police Chief, the incident occurred in the parking lot of the venue just before 10:30 p.m. Officers responding to shots-fired calls found two teenage gunshot victims at the scene. Both were transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Police later learned of a third teenage victim who had been taken to a Fort Worth hospital for treatment.

The chief reported that a large crowd — estimated at over 100 people — was present when officers arrived. A group of minors fled the scene but were later arrested. In total, seven individuals were taken into custody in connection with the shooting, six of whom are minors. Several guns were recovered at the scene.

The Everman Police Chief stated that investigators have requested assistance from the Texas Rangers. Authorities are continuing to compile witness information and review video evidence.
