Husband Charged with Killing Missing Dodge County Woman, Hiding Her Body

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office arrested Aaron Nelson on Friday in connection with the disappearance of his wife, Alexis Nelson, turning a months-long missing person case into a homicide investigation.

Prosecutors have charged Aaron Nelson with killing Alexis Nelson and hiding her body. Alexis Nelson was reported missing in Beaver Dam last year.

According to the criminal complaint, investigators found her blood in a storage unit and in a trash can that Aaron Nelson purchased around the time of her disappearance. Authorities say Nelson provided others with conflicting stories about her whereabouts and death.

No remains have been found, and there is no documentation of her death in Wisconsin.
