Double Murder Suspect Arrested After SWAT Standoff in Dallas’ Oak Cliff

Dallas police arrested a suspect in a double homicide following a lengthy SWAT standoff in the city’s South Oak Cliff neighborhood early Sunday.

The incident began around 2:30 a.m. when officers responded to a shooting call at a house on House Street along Interstate 35 in the Camp Wisdom area. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men who had been fatally shot inside the residence.

A man barricaded himself inside the same location, leading to an extended SWAT response. The standoff concluded by 10 a.m. with the suspect taken into custody.
