Harley Davidson Profit Plunges 81% Despite North American Sales Gain

Harley-Davidson reported a sharp decline in first-quarter profit for 2026, even as the Milwaukee-based motorcycle manufacturer saw a notable increase in regional sales.

According to figures cited by The Associated Press, the company earned $25 million in the first three months of 2026. That figure represents an 81% decline from the $133 million profit recorded during the same period last year.

Despite the profit plummet, Harley-Davidson confirmed that its North American sales increased by 14%. Company spokespersons emphasized the regional growth while acknowledging the overall earnings downturn.
