Cudahy Woman Arrested After Fleeing Police, Crashing Vehicle in St. Francis

ST. FRANCIS, Wisconsin – A 44-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested early Friday following a police chase that ended in a crash and the use of a Taser by officers, according to authorities.

The incident began near Amity and Whitman Avenues in St. Francis, where police said they observed a vehicle parked in a no-parking zone. When an officer asked the driver to step out of the vehicle, the woman allegedly drove off instead.

The pursuit concluded with a crash at 7.9 Fort Howard Avenue. DOT cameras captured the aftermath of the collision.

Police said they used a Taser to take the 44-year-old driver into custody. In addition to fleeing and crashing, the woman also faces charges for resisting arrest.

The chase ended with the Cudahy woman in handcuffs. Authorities have not released the woman’s name at this time.
