Arlington Officer Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Woman Who Called 911 for Help

ARLINGTON, Texas — A 10‑year veteran of the Arlington Police Department has been arrested and is in custody, accused of sexually assaulting a woman who originally called police for assistance.

According to the department, the woman contacted officers on April 11. An internal investigation later determined that the responding officer engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with her.

Following the initial call, the officer reportedly visited the woman’s home three additional times in the days that followed. During all three visits, the woman told investigators that the officer’s body‑worn camera was covered.

The department’s Sex Crimes Unit launched the investigation three weeks ago. The officer has since been arrested as the criminal investigation continues.
