Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that fighting continues along the front line with no sign of a ceasefire, stating that Russia has no intention of ending the war and that Ukraine is preparing for the possibility of further attacks.
In a late-night address, Zelenskyy said Ukraine is documenting ongoing combat activity while reaffirming that peace remains the country’s ultimate goal. He stressed that Ukraine’s defense and independence remain the top priority.
Zelenskyy also reported that senior Ukrainian officials, including National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustam Umarov, briefed him on recent meetings held in the United States. According to the president, discussions took place with American companies at both political and technological levels, and he noted that the United States remains engaged in diplomatic efforts despite shifting global attention toward other international conflicts.
On the European front, Zelenskyy confirmed that Germany’s Defense Minister Boris Pistorius visited Kyiv, where talks focused on expanding joint defense production, including drone manufacturing partnerships already underway between the two countries. Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for Germany’s continued support, particularly in air defense systems and energy sector assistance.
He also said Ukraine is preparing to work more closely within the E3 framework—the United Kingdom, France, and Germany—as Kyiv seeks to strengthen cooperation with key European allies in both defense and reconstruction efforts during the ongoing war.
