San Antonio, Texas – Three teenagers were hospitalized early Monday morning following a shooting outside a house party on San Antonio’s inner west side, with one victim reported in critical condition.
San Antonio police responded to the area of San Fernando and South Navidad just before 2:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire. According to police spokesperson Earl Studemeyer, three individuals were shot outside the residence and transported to University Hospital for treatment.
Studemeyer confirmed that a 16-year-old boy was shot multiple times, while a 16-year-old girl and a 19-year-old boy sustained gunshot wounds to the lower body. All three victims were listed in critical condition following the incident.
Investigators say two separate fights occurred at the party prior to the shooting. The suspect, described as a male between the ages of 15 and 25, allegedly pulled a firearm and fled the scene before officers arrived. No arrests have been made at this time.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect’s whereabouts to contact the San Antonio Police Department. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
