Man Sought for Choking Child at Brooklyn Park

 Police are searching for a man who allegedly pushed two young children and choked a 7-year-old at a Brooklyn park.

The incident occurred on Monday at Bush Clinton Park in Red Hook. According to police, the man, pictured in a blue shirt, approached a 5-year-old girl, a 7-year-old boy, and a 12-year-old boy.

Authorities state the suspect pushed the 5-year-old and the 12-year-old to the ground before squeezing his hands around the neck of the 7-year-old. He then fled the scene.

Police have described the attack as targeted. No further details about the suspect’s identity have been released at this time. Investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward.
