SEGUIN, Texas – A developing situation is underway in Guadalupe County, where an armed man has barricaded himself inside a home with his three children following a road rage shooting, according to the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities report that the suspect is currently barricaded in a residence located in the 200 block of Pine Street, near North Austin Street. Residents and the public are being asked to avoid the area while law enforcement handles the ongoing incident.

Investigators state that prior to the barricaded situation, the man fired a gun at another individual during a road rage altercation on Seguin Lulling Road. The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the victim was grazed by the bullet. He is currently at a hospital speaking with detectives.
