DEKALB COUNTY, Georgia — Authorities are investigating a late-night DeKalb County shooting that erupted at a local residence. According to police officials, the incident left three people injured, with one victim sustaining serious injuries while the other two suffered minor harm.
The incident unfolded in a residential neighborhood on Mallard Crest, near the intersection of Panola Road and Covington Highway, at approximately 11:00 p.m. While law enforcement has not officially confirmed the ages of the victims, witnesses at the scene described a chaotic environment involving a house party attended by several teenagers.

Notably, while responding to the scene, officials have not yet confirmed if the incident was definitively a shooting. Furthermore, spokespersons have not released information regarding the total number of individuals inside the home, how many were teenagers, or whether anyone is currently in custody.
