Three Shot in Separate Milwaukee Incidents as Police Hunt Suspects

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin — Authorities are investigating three separate shootings that occurred across the city on Sunday, including two incidents that took place less than 40 minutes apart.

Milwaukee Police spokespersons confirmed that the first shooting occurred around 4:20 p.m. near Fond du Lac Avenue, where a 36-year-old individual was shot. Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

Just before 5 p.m., a second shooting was reported near Third Street and Concordia Avenue. Police spokespersons stated that a 27-year-old was shot in this incident and also taken to a hospital for medical care. The conditions of both victims have not been publicly disclosed.

A third shooting occurred elsewhere in the city on Sunday, bringing the total to three separate firearm incidents, though details regarding the third incident remain limited as the investigation continues.

Milwaukee Police spokespersons emphasized that the circumstances surrounding all three shootings remain under active investigation. Authorities are currently searching for unknown suspects and have not yet released descriptions or potential motives.

“We are still looking for unknown suspects,” police spokespersons said in a statement regarding the two closely timed evening incidents.
