Lahren Criticizes Jill Biden’s Book Tour Amid Debate Revelations

Former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden’s upcoming book tour has drawn sharp criticism from conservative commentator Tomi Lahren, who argued that Democratic officials and media figures who defended President Joe Biden’s cognitive fitness during his tenure now face scrutiny over revelations in the former First Lady’s memoir.

According to excerpts discussed during a recent political commentary segment, Jill Biden’s new book describes her husband’s performance during the 2024 presidential debate with Donald Trump in stark terms, reportedly stating he appeared like “a glitching A.I. hologram,” looked “made of clay,” and seemed to be “having a stroke.” The former First Lady also reportedly acknowledged that she and the former President misled the American public about the extent of his cognitive decline.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates previously criticized Jill Biden for discussing these matters publicly ahead of the mid-term elections. However, Lahren pushed back on that criticism during her commentary, stating that Democrats and members of the media who promoted the narrative that President Biden remained cognitively fit “were all in on it.”

“Anybody with eyes and ears could see that Joe Biden was failing cognitively and otherwise,” Lahren said, adding that many in the media “went along with the narrative that behind closed doors he was an Olympian.” She argued that Democratic officials now seeking to distance themselves from the Biden administration’s messaging “can’t have your cake and eat it too.”

The commentary also referenced internal Democratic concerns, with Biden insiders reportedly stating that party members “need all of this like they need a hole in the head” and accusing leadership of being “disingenuous and shameless.” According to the discussion, some Democratic insiders have acknowledged insisting the President was fit to serve another four years while now attributing electoral losses to those earlier assurances.

Questions were also raised about the former First Lady’s actions during the 2024 debate. Lahren asked why, if Jill Biden believed her husband was experiencing a medical emergency on stage, she did not intervene during the event or commercial breaks. She further questioned why Biden continued to appear publicly after the debate while receiving praise from his wife.

The segment also referenced remarks from Representative Elise Stefanik, who characterized aspects of the situation as “shameless” and “disgraceful.” Lahren concluded that while the Biden family’s current public appearances may serve as a form of “revenge tour,” the Democratic Party bears responsibility for promoting the former President’s candidacy despite visible concerns about his fitness for office.

“Their moment in history is not only letting this man run again but convincing us even after that debate he was still fit to be our President for months after that,” Lahren stated. “So they own this. They can’t escape this.”

The discussion highlighted ongoing tensions within Democratic circles as former administration figures and allies navigate post-presidency communications while facing continued political scrutiny.
