Woman Recovering After Shooting in Chicago’s Hermosa Neighborhood

A 37-year-old woman is recovering in good condition after being shot while seated inside a vehicle on Chicago’s Northwest Side, according to Chicago Police Department spokespersons.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the Hermosa neighborhood, near the intersection of Courtland and Pulaski streets. Authorities stated that three individuals approached the victim’s vehicle and fired shots in her direction, striking her multiple times.

The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where Chicago Police Department spokespersons confirmed she is listed in good condition.
